Salon Policy

Please be familiar with our salon policies, they are designed to maintain a high level of service to our customers and are enforced in fairness to all guests.  If you have any questions, please feel free to email or give us a call.

Dominique Salon is all about you! We want to provide you with the highest standards of service and personal care, in the most professional environment so that you will return and recommend us again and again! We value our reputation as a salon providing not only excellence in technical services, but creating an atmosphere of genuine caring and concern for your well-being. Please don't hesitate to advise one of our friendly associates if you need any assistance or have any questions.

Appointments

Salon or Spa services are available by appointment on a daily basis. We recommend calling as far in advance as possible to ensure availability.  A deposit may be required at the time of booking.  We recommend that you book your next appointment prior to leaving the salon so that we can be sure to accommodate your schedule.  Service availability may vary by time and date.

Cancellations

If you have an appointment, this time is reserved exclusively for you.  In the event that you must cancel your appointment, we require a 24 hour advance notice for all salon services.  A 48 hour notice is required for spa services.  A 72 hour cancellation notice is required for specialty services.  This is a courtesy to our staff members, and allows us to better accommodate the needs of other clients.  Cancellations of less than 24 hours will be charged 50% of the service(s) booked.  No shows will be charged 100% of the service(s) booked.  Gift certificates will be reduced to half value with less than 24 hours notice and no shows will be reduced to zero value.  Groups of three or more will be required to give a seven day cancellation or reschedule notice or the above fees and gift certificate policy will be initiated.  In case Dominique Salon cancels your appointment, a complimentary gift certificate will be provided for you.

Gratuity

Tipping is left to the discretion of our clients.  Gratuities are not included in our prices but are gladly accepted.  Calculate the amount of your tip as you would in a restaurant, but you may of course leave more or less, depending on the quality of the service.  Envelopes are available at the front desk.

Hair Color

We offer 100% guarantee on all color services within the first week after services were performed.  All guarantees will be determined by stylists.  Dominique Salon will not be liable nor redo hair color that has been done outside of our salon.  Corrective color usually requires more than one service to achieve desired results.  Because of the nature of home-coloring products, we cannot guarantee color services if the client has previously had color done outside of our salon.  We do not give cash refunds for any hair services.

Late Arrival

Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your appointment to ensure you receive your full service.  Arriving late will deprive you of valuable service time.  As a courtesy to the next guest, your treatment will end at the time originally scheduled.  Late arrivals may be rescheduled, or the remainder of the service time may be used at full price.

Lost or Damaged Items

Dominique Salon is not responsible for any damage to clothing left under your styling/color gown, so please dress accordingly.  Dominique Salon is not responsible for any lost or stolen items.

Medical Conditions

If you have any medical conditions, please mention it when you making the appointment.  Certain treatments may not be advisable for you.  Also, before your treatment begins, let your stylist, therapist or esthetician know of any medical concerns.  We request that you disclose any medical conditions and/or prescription medications as some services may be contraindicated.  Please advise your stylist, therapist or esthetician of any allergies or sensitivities or if you are pregnant.

Mobile Phone Use

Out of consideration for other guests please limit mobile phone usage throughout the salon. Mobile phone use is not permitted in the spa. Mobile phones must be turned off or placed in silent mode before entering the spa.  Our front desk staff will assist you if needed.

Payments

Forms of payment accepted are; cash, debit and credit cards (AMEX, VISA, MasterCard).  PERSONAL CHECKS ARE NOT ACCEPTED.

Pricing

Dominique Salon promotional prices are not valid in combination with other discounts, offers or coupons. All prices, whether published online or on any other Dominique Salon marketing/advertising publications include taxes.  All prices are subject to change at the discretion of management and/or stylist.  Other restrictions may apply.

Refunds

Except for replacing damaged products, we do not offer refunds, exchanges or credits on salon services, gift certificates, package series or retail products.  All sales are final.

Spa Attire

We understand that privacy and modesty are important to our clients. This is your treatment and we want you to feel at ease. It is customary for guests to completely disrobe for their spa services, although you may wear a swimsuit or undergarment if you prefer. Our therapists are trained in the "art of draping", they will leave the treatment room while you get under the sheet on the table, keep you covered at all times except for the area of the body they are working on, and will leave the treatment room before you get up from the table. If you ever feel uncomfortable, please address it with your therapist.

Waxing

Dominique Salon is not responsible for sensitive skin or the tearing of the skin, due to excessive waxing or the use of Retin-A or similar products.
